MICRONEEDLING (Collagen Induction Therapy)

Microneedling, also known as collagen induction therapy is a cosmetic procedure that involves the use of a device containing tiny needles (Dermaroller or Microneedling Pen) to create small punctures in the skin.

These punctures stimulate the body's natural healing response, leading to the production and promotion of collagen and elastin, which can help to improve the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles, and acne scars and other skin imperfections.

Microneedling can also be used to treat hyperpigmentation, sun damage, and uneven skin tone. Some people also use microneedling to improve the overall texture and firmness of their skin.

In addition to stimulating collagen and elastin production, microneedling can also improve the absorption of topical skincare products. The tiny punctures created by the needles allow for deeper penetration of active ingredients, which can enhance their effectiveness.

Please note that whilst microneedling can produce noticeable results, it is not a one-time treatment and may require multiple sessions to achieve optimal results. It is also important to consult with a qualified and experienced skincare professional before undergoing any cosmetic procedure.
